The LE Kernel project contains kernel patches to modify the 9×50 Atlas modem kernel. These modifications enable the modem to communicate with an external Linux HOST processor over USB. The project enables modem IPC control messages and data path packets over USB to flow between the Linux HOST processor and the Atlas modem.
