Summary:

The following security vulnerabilities have been identified in QuIC-authored camera driver code. CVE-2016-3859 While processing the VIDIOC_MSM_VFE_REG_CFG ioctl command, the function msm_isp_send_hw_cmd() assigns unchecked user controlled input (if the command type is VFE_READ_DMI_64BIT) to a kernel pointer. This can be used to write data to an arbitrary memory address from user space.
