The following security vulnerabilities have been identified in QuIC-authored generic USB serial function driver code. CVE-2016-2502 A buffer overflow occurs when processing the GSERIAL_SMD_WRITE ioctl in the gser_ioctl function because an untrusted user space value is used as the length when copying data from user space to kernel space.
